Here is a new Sacred Grove painting I am working on for the Inagural Show for Inspirational Artists Association of which I am a founding member. This organization has formed this year 2010 for the purpose of supporting one another as artists and exploring options to increase the opportunities to connect to the public.

these two paintings done in Kolob canyon really excited me.
the painting on the left is finished and available at Southam Gallery
The painting on the right is a small 14x11 that is not finished yet, but should be soon.
May 15th

On my easle right now is a 40x40 view of this lovely lake in the Sawtooth Mountains, Idaho.
I am probably 60% finished with the painting.
April 2010
We find ourselves in sunny Arizona for the Oil Painters of America Nationals hosted at the LEGACY Gallery in Scottsdale. In conjunction with the show Scottsdale Artist School hosted a wet paint show. We checked into the school and had panels stamped, then headed out for a good place to paint. We never found the Lost Dutchman State park, but found this beautiful location called Goldfield. You can read what I wrote about painting "en plein air" in 15 Bytes, an online magazine for artists. You can't tell I am having a great time can you?

The OPA show is amazing. Out of 2800 entries, only 219 were hung of which my painting entitled "Symbols of Life" is one!
Linda will be teaching private lessons on a first come first serve basis. Contact me by email for more information.
